Forbidden Love

By Tanya Yadav

In the depths of longing, where shadows play,

A heart whispers softly, that you are not away

Before your presence, the world seemed still,

But with you I dream that would fulfil

Your eyes, a refuge, where dreams once took flight,

Like a star in the darkness, igniting the night.

But fate, cruel fate, drew a line in the sand,

A love once bloomed, now slips through my hand.

With breaths intertwined, how could this feel wrong?

With every lost moment, the spirit shall rise,

For even in absence, love never truly dies.

O, how the stars weep, for journeys untold,

Will our paths intertwine, as destinies unfold?

God, you’re my solace, my unseen embrace,

In the hollow of longing, I seek Your grace.

Let love find its way, through trials and errors,

Transform tears into laughter, I found you like a treasures.

So here I stand, with hope in my chest,

A soul yearning for solace, a heart seeking rest.

For though you were brought, only to be taken,

The love that we nurtured shall never be shaken.
