For "The Person" By "That Girl"

There are greetings I would like to wish,

there are gifts I would like to give,

there is so much I would like to do,

but nothing would be enough for you.

All I can think of is a story to narrate,

about a girl with nothing exceptional.

Yet encountered some exceptional people,

who later became irreplaceable. 

Fenced with fears, was bright but skittish,

fear to express, as she never perceived.

She longed for it though, to socialise a bit, 

that girl thought she was too silent to fit. 

One morning, when things were regular, 

a person came with a chance to change.

Though that person wasn't new to her,

but they still had something that gave her cheer. 

That chance, but changed her completely,

from a silent dumbo, to a confident genius.

'Shining star' was her title bestowed, 

that girl became everyone's glowed.

Though 'that girl' was a single person,

'the person' were many together. 

To her, they all were a second family, 

and you know? You were in that family. 

Each one of you influenced me a lot,

I am who I am, all because of you,

I still don't get what you saw in me, 

all I know is that you were with me. 

I still have many things to achieve.

This star still has a lot to shine,

but for making this star realise its light,

I thank you with all the love of mine.
