For the 13th time

Gust of winter wind came leaving no trace,

Leaves dancing around as if kept in a furnace

Little long strands of untamed hair all over her face,

I gently tucked her hair behind her ear in place.

In her astonishingly beautiful eyes was solace,

I smelled the aroma of her beauty with grace

She couldn’t resist but smiled at a snail’s pace,

Not knowing our heartbeats would start a race.

On a nameless island, words in mind began to efface,

Courage vanished and I was hoping to retrace

Five feet apart, we were almost about to embrace,

Then my alarm went off & hit the earth’s surface.
