You need a friendship like the sun and the mountain.

Where the sunrise says, “lets get started”,

And the sunset makes sure to say, “it will be better tomorrow!”, Everyday.

The mountain stands there getting illuminated in the dawn,

And warmed in the dusk, Every day.

The mountain gets laid with snow, pushed by the howling winds,

And silenced by thunderous rains, Every day.

The mountain stands chin up, 

Waiting for the first light to pat its head, Every day.

Isn't it great of the sun, 

To show up at east and also west, Every day?

Among millions of stars, the sun chose 

To light up the mountain, Every day;

Never do their paths cross, 

Yet are together in dark and day, Every day.

Sometimes become somebody’s sun and 

At other times, allow yourself to be the mountain.

You need a friendship like the mountain and the sun,

For Everyday.
