For Anakin

Orphaned at a young age,

Left to feel uneasy thoughts,

Left to fight one’s demons.

Left to one’s own devices.

Left to cater to one’s rage.

Left to think about the battles I shouldn’t have fought.

Left to fight without reasons.

Pushing yourself to the point of anxiety.

The life you have lived in sheer disharmony.

Do it for the boy who has loved.

Do it for the boy who has felt unloved.

Do it for the boy with lost emotions.

Do it for the boy lost in all the commotions.

Do it for the boy that was left out,

Do it for the boy that thinks there is no way out.

On the journey to be a man,

You won’t find a well enough plan.

Orphaned, lost, dejected all again.

I say to him, “Do it for Anakin.”
