As a bud,

I was brought into this world.

As a floret,

I was nourished.

As a bloom,

I tried to open up.

As a flower,

I kissed the dewdrops.

As a blossom,

I used to flourish.

As a seed pod,

I wanted to nurture.

As a petal,

I fell.

As decay,

I faded.

And now,

As a lesson,

I teach: life is a passing breeze.
