Flamenco

The free flare of a ruffled cuff,

the subtle sway of a full hip,

the staccato sound of sharp claps,

the throaty cry of a husky voice,

the fiery fever of a passionate whirl,

the full flounce of a polka-dotted skirt,

the sure twirl of tap-tapping feet,

the rhythmic beats of claps and taps,

are what bring out

the flamboyant flair of a flamenco,

a dance so full of passion and emotions,

it is but hard to come away

unswayed, unscathed, untouched,

for it will leave its indelible mark,

making you realize,

that to express what you feel

is natural,

is freeing,

is liberating,

be it through dance,

or with a song,

or with words...
