It was October 23

the day you noticed me,

The day you made your way through the dancefloor,

wearing those clothes pastel yellow.

Made your way through the crowd and said hello.

I knew I'm gonna fall hard but I didn’t care.

People were around but you were the only one there.

You were the burning fire and I wanted my lungs filled with the air.

It took just one look and one smile.

I wanted to make you mine and I was ready to walk a mile.

Even though my heart was already way too fragile.

I remember my smile ever so bright.

Reminiscing the moments of that night.

But you were not my radar you were a mislight.

More memorable was November 11.

I recall your every slight expression.

Every eye contact was like 7 min in heaven.

I didn’t believe in love at first sight.

Cause that's love for the beauty not for the mind,

but for you I cant deny.

I fell not for your looks nor the brain,

but for your soul where u remain.

A red thread or a broken chain.

i didnt fall for u, i fell for the look in ur eyes

cause when its all over and i cant trust ur lies

ik that my eyes werent the only ones that cried
