I can’t let everything go

Neither can I walk to and fro

Thinking about all the bad.

Even just the thought makes me sad.

I’m not optimistic

Neither am I pessimistic

A little bit egoistic

If I’m being realistic.

To put myself under the gaslight,

Prevents my future from being bright.

All the shiny stars of the night

To say that I want to be like them,

I might.

It’s true that money doesn’t grow on trees

But I can hear the buzzing bees

I just want the moment to freeze

But glowing isn’t something one can do with ease!
