Fireflies in The Rain

That was us there that night

When the stars were aglow

When the rain turned to snow

You were there, don’t you know?

We were fireflies in the rain.

I know we’re getting old

But the sun won’t stop shining

And the trees won’t stop climbing

We will be here, don’t you know?

We were fireflies in the rain.

When we were young and wild

We let our hearts decide

We worked and fought for our pride

We were there, don’t you know?

We were fireflies in the rain.

It’s alright if I’m under the ground

It’s colder up there than in my dead heart

But we will never be apart

I’m right here, don’t you know?
