Finite Infinities

Have I lost myself?

I asked the stars

They said keep twinkling

Being what they are

How do you just be?

While drowning in the beliefs

Some given, some taken

Show me how to fly like a leaf

Alone you come to this world

And alone you must leave

Time is all you get with love

And love is what you grieve

Life is a fantasy

Waiting to happen

For now we're just mere

Survivors on the run

Fate takes the blame

Of all the great scars

Yet you pick your battles

And call them the great wars

Hope is an illusion you create

To escape the claws of fear

Draw up the courage inside

Step away in the clear

Love is what you’re made of

I am in your streams

Learn to let go and flow

With higher frequency

Infinity is just a word

For something you can’t define

Unreachable rays beyond the horizon

Grander than my finite
