Finding Me Poem

By Valli.M

Beneath love's arch, where promises bloom,

I've left behind the echoes of my room.

No more looking back, just moving ahead,

In the warmth of family, where love is spread.

Parents, friends, and awards I once knew,

Stored away like memories, old and true.

Career dreams take a softer part,

In the melody of family, close to my heart.

No more 'I,' it's now 'we' and 'us,'

In simple moments, sharing joy and fuss.

Health, likes, all in the family blend,

In their happiness, my own joy I extend.

Husband's family, my children's cheer,

In their laughter, my world is clear.

Yet, a whisper within, a humble plea,

"I need my old self, the 'me' to be."

In the quiet corners of night's embrace,

A longing for balance, a familiar space.

In love's dance, finding 'me' anew,

A harmony where old and new ring true.
