Find My Way

As I walk through the forest,

To see emerald like trees,

Saffron colored leaves,

Covered with pearl like dewdrops.

Now I feel free of worries,

My mind cleared.

But as I got too mesmerised,

By the beauty in front of my eyes.

My feet dragged along my body,

Without me realising.

A wolf’s cry,

Had awoken my mind.

But now it had been too late,

As I entered the depths of the timber.

As I started to freeze because of shock,

A creature with wings so big,

Looking so majestic,

Appeared in front of me.

It was the first time,

I have seen a butterfly so big.

But in a blink of an eye,

It had disappeared,

Oh I wonder where it has mysteriously disappeared to!

Now I hear a beautiful chant,

I follow the melody,

As my legs lead me,

To a lake so blue.

My throat dry of thirst,

I dip my hands in the water,

And take a big gulp of the liquid,

Without realising,

That it will make you fall into deep slumber.

Feeling drowsy now,

I really just wanted,

To find my way home,

To find my way to peace.

My legs take me the furthest I can go,

But I end up in a cave,

And I now crave,

To enter my dreamworld.

I took a nap so long,

But now I can’t rest,

As I have to find my way home,

To find my way to harmony.

I collect all the energy I have in me,

As my eyes sparked with hope,

Leading my way back home.

Now nothing can stop me,

As my mind is drugged with passion.

I follow my sixth sense,

To the place I have been longing to reach.

Now I have finally,

Found my way home,

Found my way to serenity.
