Fearfully Made

By Hortense Francis

I am yours Lord and you know my very thoughts

You know every word that proceeds from my tongue

When I go through trials and come out shining you know that I have fought

And when I am in your presence your glory comes down and I always look young.

I look in the mirror because I am fearfully and wonderfully made

You know every part of me, every substance

I look to you my creator because I will not fade

Once I read your words I will not put up a resistance.

You knew when I was conceived in secret

Your thoughts to me were oh so precious

Lord you know that I was not perfect

I can tell you Father that I am very gracious.
