Standing in the middle of the road, drenched,

I saw the Peacocks dancing, their thirsts quenched.

The feeling of hatred grew, I let it ferment,

And once again I was reminded of the one, I resent.

Fury in my heart, tears in my eyes,

Revealing betrayals, you apologise.

All those faux promises of paradise,

You really were the devil in disguise.

The scars you left will never heal,

Petrified, I long to obliterate this ordeal.

The heavy black clouds perfectly conceal,

The agony that my heart feels.
