Father's Ego , Daughter's Words

He gets up from his same old chair

Shouts at her "you are such a shame"

Burns her poems into the flames of  his ego and rage

He smiles as if the smoke he inhales intoxicates

Smoke that makes her go blind but  she doesn't lower her gaze

He frights

seeing his pride failing in her eyes

"Aren't you scared of me "? He cries

Scratching the wounds of hate designated as love he inscribes

The poet still shouts her words with conceit

Her every words looks like sword that trashes his reputation and fame

So he locks her with puppets happy to be in this ages long rat race

In hope that her eyes will no longer search for escape

finally like others she'll write her death in this league of slaves

But would she let her muse starve in grave or blaze herself with hopes to trace the way back to her stage  again ..
