naa jaane yeh dil kyu

aaj farmaaish phir aisi kar raha…

munhadim haunslon ki neev par

kyu naye armaano ki imaarat bana raha?

fizaayein palat jo tehreek si kar gyi

kyu aandhiyon se takraane ki zarurat kar raha?



dhalte suraj ki shuaaei'n samet

kyu chingaari ragon mein foonk raha?

fizool ke takhayyulon se

kyu aashiyana mann ka sawaar raha?

naa jaane yeh dil kyu

aaj farmaaish phir aisi kar raha…
