Farewell Thoughts

Wonder what would it be like after taking the last breath

No sound, nothing to speak on the death bed,

Can I feel it when the end time is near

I'd really like to experience it without any fear,

Heaven or hell or somewhere in between

I heard it depends on how your life's been,

Thinking about souls that exist, but unheard

Are they the dead-living or walking dead blurred,

Give away all my organs to those in need

May not be easy for the living peeps who'd do this deed,

After I'm gone, don't settle for less

They'd say, it won't be possible if there's mess,

Why white is preferred on the D-day

I say wrap me in colours for it's my last day,

Take deep breaths while watching me on the pyre

Be grateful for everyday as a blessing for all of you,

Try to smile thinking of the best moments shared

Relive each day for the days cared,

I'll meet you soon as an ant or a dog

We'll tag along well then too and laugh a lot.
