I bid a farewell to my old friends

The journey I enjoyed, where childhood ends

Though a short time to even compare

Life seems larger and I am unaware

Would I be fine,

Would I be alone?

The memories will be there,

but I have surely grown.

It marks the end, or just a start,

The life I knew, Oh I had to depart!

The urge to grow, and a crave to stay,

Oh I would miss the festival holiday!

A feeling of ambivalence,

A feeling of dismay,

The springtime benevolence,

Those feelings I can't convey.

A gesture of sadness, a gesture of hope,

A point of life, an immersion of both.

Change–the law of nature which I believe,

For the good times come, so do they leave.

The past recalling and the future Entices,

May the rest of life be full of surprises.

For the anticipation which I grow,

For the upcoming sadness I shall sow.

From the happening dawn to the morning bright,

From the gone evening and coming twilight.

Will the things will be as happy as it was?

Or the sadness will make all its part?

The future will be better,

I know indeed,

The mind though mine,

resist to concede.

To have such memories,

Being so beautiful,

For the childhood stories,

That I am greatful.

The memories flashes

of the good old times

A feeling of nostalgia,

the School Bells chimes,

Yes I am leaving that loving place,

In order to survive life's upcoming race

In order to grow

And In order to thrive

Yes I bid a farewell,

to My Sweet School life!
