Faraway

By Dr Noopur Gohel

I wanna go somewhere

somewhere only I know

the roads, the trees,

the flowers, the leaves

the little dee drop too

hearing the flutter of my favourite bee

and those wings of butterfly

following the trail of my own footprints

to reach the peak

where I can see the clouds

the river flowing below

beautiful sun setting

allowing the moon to rise

the place that feels like me

that knows my love and care

the pain and ache

the place where I belong

Somewhere....
