Falling In Love

Who hasn't, who doesn't want to and why not?

Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, whether romantic or otherwise.

Romantic love is heavenly and the feeling unparalleled. If only the one we love returns our love, if only it stays the same forever, is what we all desire.

Well, if all of us would have this wish fulfilled, don't you think life would have been boring? The chase, the uncertainty, the journey, is the beauty of love. The ache that goes with it is the cherry on top. It activates the poet, the artist, the creativity within and rewards the world with the best poetry, the best artistes, the best songs and the divine symphony of love that is the gateway to heaven.

'Nobody loves me' is the oft heard voice from so many hearts. That's because the heart sets its mind on a select heart and the selected heart unfortunately desires another heart and so on. We cannot force anybody to like or love us. We must not coz that's begging and there is no fun being a beggar.

When our love isn't reciprocated, let's just bask in the feeling of having loved and activated the romance button in us. Nature has made us all romantic, romantically unique. Let's accept that. Yes, it hurts coz we ache for acceptance and the wanting to merge every cell of ours with another. We all have different tastes. Some like sweets, some don't, some like spicy stuff, some don't. If you like sugar, know that the sugar that you like may not adapt to your system and the result can be.. diabetes. If you don't get sugar, settle for sugar free i.e., if your lover doesn't reciprocate your feelings, try to find the one who loves you. Soon you may love him... acquired taste, right?

Well, our hearts and minds work differently. They ache for the one they want. It not only happens to the young, to the unattached, but to everybody. If only we could learn to stay detached, life wouldn't have been a pain. Even pain is beautiful. You have to walk through it, experience it and only then will you be able to reach the exit. Remember, the only way out is through the way in.

Falling in love cannot be helped neither can falling out of love. Both happen to everybody. In life the journey is more thrilling than the destination. Enjoy the journey. Fall in love. Let it happen. Experience it, for the experience can make you happy, sad, wise and foolish. To become wise, we need to be foolish. The heart knows only to love while the mind discriminates. We love selectively and so does the one we love. If he returns our love, we will be blessed. Well, know that if I love a chickoo, maybe he may love strawberry and then who knows that our tastes may change later, happy to know that we thankfully let go of that love.

I strongly feel there is no so termed virgin for we all romance in our heads, the partner of our choice, maybe post marriage too. Let the pen pour out your angst, let us be someone's shoulder if we can't have the shoulder of our choice. Let us continue the journey of love, for that is what life is, 'A love..ly journey' to taste love, to enjoy it's pleasures and to feel it's pain.

We are all travellers journeying in the train of love, untrained in love, training ourselves to love n be loved. We may collide, meet with accidents, yet we continue to seek love. Love is the only station where we want to alight. We are strange creatures. We are on the train of love looking for the station of love, unaware that there is nothing n nobody to seek for what we seek, is seeking us, maybe it has even sought us.
