Falling Back In Love

i stand in front of the mirror,

the mirror that has seen me at my worst.

it has:

witnessed me sob and whine,

noticed my sanity rapidly decline.

observed my appalling breakdowns,

watched me intently as i fell far, far down.

i stand in front of the mirror,

the mirror that will never again see me at my worst.

it will look at me feeling proud of myself,

it will look at me falling back in love with myself.
