FALLACY

Deep in his eyes she drowned,

With his heart she was crowned.

Felt heaven in his arms,

And damn he’s got that charm.

Mesmerized by his smile,

Is he just a picture in her file?

Peace in his words,

Like the early morning humming birds.

So lost in his voice,

She couldn’t hear any other noise.

How is he so perfect she pondered,

So peacefully everything he conquered.

Is he real…

or a mere illusion?
