Existential Enigmas
By J. Prince Wilfred
Life is gorgeously good,
When senses seek the heavenly mood.
Tumultuously bad it is,
When sorrows leave scar and blood sore.
Life is copiously consoling,
When our foot touches the pinnacle of fame.
It is drastically desolating,
When only happiness is expected and it is shame.
Life is of meaningful suffering,
When our beloved one is far or gone.
It is furiously frustrating,
When sin is the only mantle, we seek to don.
Life is profusely peaceful,
When pain and gain are edges of a single cane.
Life is sanely successful,
When love is shown in deeds than words so insane.
Is this really Life?
If not this then, what is it?
Life is miraculously substantial,
When we find joy in giving selflessly.
It is a living reality,
When minds are not caught in fictional fantasy.
Life is what we make for our own sake,
Forgoing fake falsity and living in reality.
Acceptance holds the key to live life,
Self-abnegation for others let’s all strive.
