Ethereal

By Aadharshini D S

You were the most beautiful dream I have ever dreamt,

soft as moonlight, bright and perfect.

But the whole thing vanished as a mist as the sun shone—

no warning, no goodbye… just gone.

The memories you gave shattered my heart.

Now even the cracks whisper your name.

And the shattered heart has reminded me of you always,

like a wound that won’t heal, or a song I can’t forget.
