You were the most beautiful dream I have ever dreamt,
soft as moonlight, bright and perfect.
But the whole thing vanished as a mist as the sun shone—
no warning, no goodbye… just gone.
The memories you gave shattered my heart.
Now even the cracks whisper your name.
And the shattered heart has reminded me of you always,
like a wound that won’t heal, or a song I can’t forget.

You portrayed feelings of the real sorrows came out of the unreal dream...just perfect.
A dream that vanished with daylight — this poem captures heartbreak like fading moonlight. The memories feel like glass still embedded beneath the skin: beautiful, painful, unforgettable. It’s the kind of loss that doesn’t end, only softens around the edges, but never releases.
This isn't a pain that fades; it's a permanent record, "a wound that won't heal, or a song I can't forget." This context have captured the essence of a loss that doesn't diminish, but becomes a part of who you are. Profoundly moving and brilliantly written.
Dear sister, your poem is very touching and touching.
Super poem and nice lines
