Eternal Return

By Jincy Jeevan

Every day it haunts me –

That I will remember you

Longer then I ever held you.

Time moves, but I remain

In the hour your soul slipped from mine.

The world keeps tiring,

Yet I wander through its rhythm

Like a ghost of once lived love.

Your touch still burns in my soul-

A light no death could dim.

If love is eternal

Let it find me again-

In realms beyond breath,

In skies where souls remember.

When eternity unfolds its gate,

I want to meet you there-

Not as strangers,

But as two heart

Who once promised to never forget.
