Eternal Bond

By Raghav Badrinath

In the golden glow of dawn, they stood, hand in hand,

Whispers of vows exchanged, across the land.

For better or for worse, their voices intertwined,

A promise to weather storms, hearts and souls aligned.

Through fields of vibrant bloom, and valleys deep,

In sickness and in health, their love they'd keep.

To honor and to respect, with every step they'd take,

A pledge to cherish deeply, in every bond they'd make.

For richer or for poorer, their love would stay,

Through fortune's fleeting dance, come what may.

In joy and in sorrow, their laughter and their tears,

Bound together in moments, throughout the passing years.

In twilight's gentle embrace, as shadows fall,

To comfort and to care, they'd answer love's call.

Where silence reigns, and shadows dwell,

In the depths of despair, they'd bid farewell.

But as they stood beneath the stars, journey near its end,

Until parted by death, their hearts forever blend.

In the tapestry of time, love an endless art,

For better or for worse, etched upon their heart.
