Equality

I am a little girl and I don’t know this word, ’equality’,

Because I am always treated unjustly;

I am made to stay at home

While all the boys go to school

Do I really don’t have any right of education?

I have also been deprived of my happiness,

Because I am a girl!

Unlike a boy I am treated

According to my outer self and not my inner one;

I am also taught to keep quiet and endure everything

Just because I am a girl

Is it really right?

Everybody in today’s world say that they follow equality,

But is that really the truth?
