Epiphany

It’s either to be silent, or to convey

The first to one’s soul is violent; the latter will cause decay

It’s not a mere wall but an island, in which a plethora of emotions will stay

They try to refurbish one’s psyche, to keep one at bay

But who’s to say they’re almighty, and their spirit won’t wither away

One succumbing to their reason is unlikely, when they are mere puppets at play

One loathes to be silent, but it’s arduous to convey
