Epiphany

A perfect stranger with an innocent smile,

Twin flame and convictions a neat pile.

Crossing paths and embracing paradox;

Couldn't take a breath with ease.

If only somehow I could freeze time,

I'd blend your soul with mine;

For you seem to be the only cure,

A reason for me to smile.

Unable to comprehend what to say,

Hoping for these moments to last forever.

Piercing through the Encompassed bonds,

Accompanied by sleepless nights.

Drowning amidst the familiar tides,

Oblivion amidst drowning fireflies.

Lacking faith blinded by infatuation;

Influenced you'd find it unrealistic.

Silence was all that you had to offer,

Feelings of unspoken uncertainty;

Taking responsibility insecurities aside.

Holding on unjustified.

Eventually realising as time creeps by,

Treachery amidst adversity;

Disregarding honesty you'd seek attention.

Just a roleplay concealing your boredom.

Disoriented;

Now there's nothing left for you to hide.

Mutual bonds a beautiful lie,

Solitary agonizing screams alongside.
