Darkness hidden inside me

now comes out at night

engulfing me in her arms

taking over my happiness.

Fear and anxiety holds me

with their threads of pain

taking me as a captive

in my own dark thoughts.

My heart goes frozen

my fingers are all numb

takes me to the edge of madness

as darkness holds me by my head.

Bullet of my thoughts

hits my chest hard

hoping to see the light

darkness completely takes me over.
