The knife pierced through my chest…

But I didn’t move…

My heart was bleeding… my life slipping away…

Yet my eyes remained fixed on that face…

The face I had memorised in my veins,

The face I had captured inside my brain…

My hand twitched, wanting to caress those cheeks,

To wipe away the tears that flowed the same way I bled…

Is this the end? Is this how I will die?

I felt my body shudder as I collapsed to the ground…

My eyes closed, but a faint smile lingered on my lips…

Maybe our story ended tragically…

But at least, a part of it was written beautifully.
