End Of Innocence
By Anushree R
Years passed…
Summer breeze touches my sundress…
As I walk down the lane…
Faded memories blushing behind…
Alarm of darkness reflects in my shadow…
Greatest gift from God,my hands…
To wipe out their tears of pain…
To build up their courage to live…
To cure their body and mind too…
My Doctor’s degree…
Leaves dancing to the beat of breeze…
River runs by the waves of wind…
My rhythm of life stepped down…
As the luxurious doors smiled at me…
No pulse felt at my finger tips thereafter…
Forget my oath for...
Fragnance of luxury…
Shades of currency…
Woven a net around my eyes…
Darkness roams towards my life…
The greatest mistake here to judge me know…
As my hands thrown them to die…
She with her nine month old life in her womb…
Those careless seconds of mine paved their life…
Stepping down the corridor…
Escaping from shackles of memories…
Her blood vanishes all my dreams…
With tears of despire and guiltiness…
My heartaches again and again…
Desperately longing for glimmer light…
In the midst of lonliness…
With all wind of emotions…
Life is here,whispering me…
That was the end of innocence…
Once it lost,hard to find…
Here me,left with dreams to fly…
Here me,from the pain of thorns…
Here me,from the crown of realization…
Here me,from end of innocence…
