She was the ephemeral elegy,

Agonised yet rarest,

Pleasant and tranquil she was,

Yet the enticing tempest.

He was fire merged with scars,

Heaven conflated with tragedy,

Destiny intertwined with affliction,

And agony tainted by ecstasy.

Like distant mountain streams, they met,

Their waves of candour affection unified,

And flourished a love that withstood the,

Tyranny of fate;

A love that left customs defied.

Her serendipity mantled his raging demons,

Witness was the amber tinted sky,

To their rapture as endless as sea,

And elation as eternal as a gentle lullaby.

Like a warm cloak of blanket in the winters,

Was their love,

Like a tender whisper of calming melodies,

Was their love,

Like the scent of lucid petrichor,

Was their love,

And like a sanguine rose encased in deadly thorns,

Was their love!!
