English Version:

ECHOES OF LOVE

When I find love through another,

Your memories grow stronger than ever,

When I stumble and lose my way,

Your memories heal me, come what may.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

I weep while I smile,

I smile even when tears compile,

I lose myself in my silent cries,

Singing the tunes of your goodbyes.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

Though I breathe yet time stands still,

My heart yearns for patience, against its will,

For even now, I endure each day,

When someone of mine goes away.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

Unspoken words within my soul,

No one knows, no one will ever know,

Far away is my mother’s embrace,

But my heart refuses to accept the space.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

Eyes still search for her,

While my sighs, they stir,

Turning away from the truth,

My heart wants to hold you, uncouth.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

You were given to me without a plea,

Now I pray for your return to me,

May God hear my desperate cry,

And bring you back to my side.

Oh, my mother, oh, my mother.

Roman Urdu:

Kabhi jo kisi se mohabbat mile,

Toh yaadein teri taza hue.

Kabhi jo kahin thokar lage,

Toh yaadein teri marham bane.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!

Haste haste ro padun,

Rote rote hasne lagun.

Khud mein khud hi behekne lagun,

Teri judayi ke nagme padun.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!

Sansein toh chalti hai magar,

Waqt jaise tham sa gaya hai.

Dil ab bhi karta hai sabar,

Jab chod ke apna gaya hai.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!

Ankahi baatein meri,

Ab koi jaane bhi nahi.

Door hai maa meri,

Dil maane hi nahi.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!

Muntazir hai nigahen,

Bharti hun main aahen.

Sach se nazar churaye,

Dil ko hun thaame.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!

Mili thi mujhe bin maange,

Ab karti hun duaen.

Khuda sunle sadayen,

Milne tu phir aayen.

Oh meri maa, oh meri maa!
