Echoes Of Hunger

By Nirati Gouthami

In a world filled with hunger,

I feel a deep sense of anger.

Starving faces and needy eyes

struggle amid a food crisis, dying on the roadsides.

The hunger compels some to eat soil,

which leads to their health spoil.

The cries of children are a heart-wrenching sound;

parents struggle to find food all around.

Some are desperate for food,

while others carelessly discard it on the ground.

I witnessed a child crying,

and it made me feel as if humanity was dying.

together with love and care,

we can end the food crisis with love and share.
