It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness !

The following is a real incident

Sometimes back Bob went on a journey to his sister's house to see her family.Bob bought some colorful shirts for his sister's two kids and a good quality t-shirt for his cousin.He packed them with beautiful wrapping paper and ribbons.the gifts were all set and what he needed now was to buy a good chocolate for the two kids.He went to the nearest supermarket and bought a big chocolate bar.He put them inside a good looking bag and happily waited till Ann,his wife came home after her work.Around 3:00 pm Ann came home and had tea together."Is everything set ?",asked Ann and bob replied "yes,bought a big choc for the kids"."ok,that's good,I bought a cake, that'll do it" said Ann and started getting ready for the journey.Bob had already taken a shower so he'd dress up and start the car.The couple were on the road in a few minutes of time.They refueled on their way and travelled for 2 hours to arrive at an interchange.Bob parked the car for a while and thought for a while."ypu have you lost track of the road,haven't you ?"asked Ann and bob nodded,"yeah,I can't exactly remember is it to the right from the interchange or left"said bob.let's check the maps Ann took out her smartphone and searched for the location but the maps couldn't give the exact location."it gives only the general area,not the exact place"said ann.bob said "we're gonna have to ask someone" and drove his car towards a small shop nearby.In it was a man seated on a chair doing something.he was a cobbler,sewing a shoe,his eyes fixed at a certain angle,doing his work very carefully."Can I have a help with finding a place sir"he asked politely."yes,sure"the man replied."I need to find Sunshine gardens,do you know where that is ?"asked bob.The man stopped his work for a while,raised his finger,and seemed like he thought inside his head for a while,his gaze seemed fixed at a point and said "Sunshine gardens,I can tell you this place,you should go straight to the right and follow the route for one and a half kilometres when you'd find a Factory,turn right again and you'll find the place" the man said."Ah,that's what I needed to know,I've forgotten it's to the left or right,thank you sir,really appreciate your help"said bob and went back to the car.While Bob went back he saw slightly the man using his hands to express goodwill and say ok.Bob thought the man was slow and felt something awkward about the man but he was equally rushing to get to his destination.He drove the car as said by the man and arrived at his sister's place.They had a good time with the sister's family members.They had some drinks and snacks and the kids enjoyed their chocolates.by evening they were having a chat and the topic of their journey from home to sunshine gardens came up."Bob asked a guy near the interchange"said Ann.Bob said "yeah,I had forgotten where to take the turn"asked that guy in the shop.Bob then went silent and thought for himself,"the guy looked awkward,he was a cobbler,and had a lottery board nearby,I was rushing to get here so I didn't observe him much,but you know what? I think I have asked directions from a blind man !!!"said bob.The cousin was impressed,"wow,it could be,did you notice his eyes ?"the cousin asked "yes,they were shut all the time,but I couldn't notice more about him because of my rush,his mannerisms were clearly slow and sort of feeling for space"said bob.I think I should have appreciated him more,I would do something for those visually challenged people when I get a chance even if I couldn't find that guy again"said bob with brightened eyes.Bob's cousin was impressed with the incident and said "A blind man can show us the way,life is amazing at times,god bless that man ! Let there be light on his life !".bob said,"Better to Light a candle than to curse the darkness !"
