Dying Without Regret

I know I am dying

And I don’t regret it

I know you would think

What an absurd thought it is

But still I won’t regret it

I have lived my life full of joy

I have lived it every moment

I could possibly find

I have lived it with every memory

I could possibly make

So yes, I don’t regret it

As I lie on my deathbed

After a century or more

I hope my older me would think

Even if my heart was broken

Even if I made mistakes

Even if I faced my cup of difficulties

It has made me who I am

So why should I regret it?
