Drop It Off

By Haransh Kaur

You were given bad advices,

Just drop it off.

You were told to think twice,

Just drop it off.

The guilt in your chest?

It’s not your cloth—take it off.

Their doubts in your step?

Honey, strut and shake it off.

Manipulation and lies,

You had to compromise.

Drop it all.

Drop it at once.

The echoes of noise,

The thought that annoys—

Drop it off.

Let silence be your choice.

The weight of their gaze,

The pressure to amaze—

Shake it off,

You were born to blaze.

Let go of the wounded you—

You're a star, burning through.

Don't let them define your worth;

It's your time now—rebirth.

So stand up tall, unbothered and bold,

Your story’s yours—unwritten, untold.

No looking back, no fear to scoff,

Head held high—

Just drop it off.
