Drivel
By Lavance Jethro John
Tears and rain,
Crash and wake.
Through the downpour,
They leave me at stake.
Susceptible to melancholy;
Inviting all ill.
Rejoicing in stanzas
For the holes, they fill.
Don't regale me with a dream,
I've seen its demise.
Sane men, not withstanding,
Life abusing their reprise.
So, they stand in the rain,
And accompanying their tears,
Arises an amiable revelation,
Proof for their fears.
Tears or rain,
Between a blurry line.
Falling with due dissonance;
Disillusioned during sunshine.
Coddling weeps is foolish,
As Storms persist.
Missing forests for trees…
My indignation can insist.
Tears with rain,
Bearing no difference.
Can anyone endure them?
Well, use me as a reference.
