Dreamworld Asks

My speech true

Is of a liar’s.

The rebellious youth

Stutters at truth,

For it speaks myself

In another world,

To where I am removed

And must be real again.

Where I cannot just

Let play foul my mind,

Instead, my being must come alive

To take upon and charge all dues,

To stand in pride

Of all that is to be begun.

And here all the dreamworld asks

Is to see all dues and crowns won, and humility shown.

Now calls me this skin

Every bit of it,

Flowing sweat in false cold

For forever warm is sleep.
