In the vision so ethereal of a tender consciousness,

A hope unfolds but left as though a story untold.

Flashbacks erupt, came back to four,

A child that yearns warmth and heights untouched, a dream for more.

The chosen one, in the eyes of young

Sibling- the one so golden symphony that was sung.

Yet in the heart of the tender one,

All was none, none but one.

Dreams faded, the light blown out

A silent pact with shadows, a silenced shout.

She looks back to where she blooms, had not she become so ‘lone,

Before the responsibilities, before the burdens were thrown.

Acceptance soon arrived, of the replacement,

One fallen, another picked as reinforcement.

As she sighed yearning the happy ending,

But to also be someone’s "happy," twisted fate but still depending.

A child's desire for a solace person's grace,

Wrapped in the string of time, burned on her face.

For in her still ignited a flame of hope, a heart holds on,

To the assurance of being chosen as someone's dawn.
