Dreamland

By Shreeyash Bahuguna

inspired from

George Orwell's 1984

Alas! I give up drowning in the ocean of joy

each drop made from blood of screechy cry ,

from the eyes of the rotten skull,

see the bliss-

to cut my throat from a knife that's dull,

Oh! See the mice in my gaped gut

weeping granny beside the raped girl

What a beautiful life -

Caped man saving the shaved slut,

cold caved crux of the sanctuaries ,

massacred mercy of the tutelary mercenaries

What a beautiful sanctuaries

OUR World-

For centuries this beauty crushed many centuria now rest easy soldier,

for this is our Dreamland Dystopia ,

Where children are burned out by bordom

While adults turns out to be dead and colder,

here regimes are hoarder of soul and

the statutes are black as coal ,

here Liberty, enlightenment and insights

are altered by chained self loathing blinds ,

Insane intellects menacled by sexuality

BEHOLD! the pinnacle of humanity.

only a Great pity

Is this is what we have accomplished ?
