Dream of Heaven

If heaven's were true, would the nights be so dark ? Would the day shine with morning stars? If heaven's were true, why would I see a dog die of hunger and apathy ? Fulfilling his master's every wish wouldn’t he be worthy of the stairway to heaven? If the heaven's were true why would roses have thorns to prick you of reality ? Aroma so elegant yet pokes of harshness and depression? If the heaven's were true why would I see people die of hunger? Mother Earth has enough to feed everyone ! if the heaven's were true why would my glass of wine run empty ? Dont I deserve to be delusional to see the heavens ? If the heaven's were true why the truest love stories need to be incomplete ? Was the love of god for us incomplete too? If the heaven's were true why do I feel pain ? Oh let me see God made me human saying he made me just less than himself !

I fail to feel the plight , the suffering of my brothers, they smile to me. The catastrophe doesn’t seem so big through their eyes and when they die I shall put my hands on their eyes & help them shut . I am neither a soldier nor a mercenary, yet I murder with the power of silence! I sit numb and helpless and the most powerful weapon am said to have is - prayer ! But who's gonna hear it ? Are you listening to me oh dear lord ! look down on me . I am the dust of your finger tip! Rub me gently and set me free! Let me wither from you and fall into pits of apathy . May be then my virtues would mean something . May be then my efforts would be seen. My mother cries blood, my fathers bleeds sweat , my brothers and sisters mourn reality ! Oh sweet loved father of heaven , make us worthy of your eyes , let us not be without a clue , let us see if the heaven's are true !
