Diwali is a Festival of Lights,

Everything is beautifully bright.

Mom makes sweets for me,

They are absolutely delicious you see.

It is an occasion to celebrate with family,

Time is spent so happily.

We light lamps with joy,

And completely enjoy.

We meet and greet our friends,

And our friendship never ends.
