Die Dalende Styg

1. Die melksap reuk vars van die verworwe pak

2. Met agressie en weld gedwing van sy tak

3. Klein-klein begin n asem ontwikkel

4. Die harde blaas, n sig, n sukkel

5. Elasties van buite, n sterk wand

6. Reeds n waarde, kan versny deur n tand

7. Die inflasie van die ballon is miskien n taak

8. Die vrees van pop, tussen in, vermaak

9. Die harde geluid is die oorsaak van skrik

10. maar die ballon is nog klein, vêr van misluk

11. Maar die blase verskil, onafhangend van die mond

12. party te sterk, en party te bond

13. Die limiet word oortrede, skaars binne n minuut

14. Die ballon se wapper is geraas in verdriet

15. Die mond word koud, kwylend met skaars n knik

16. Die blase is verewig, wreed met geen tyd om te snik
