My memories are

A sequence of terror.

They still haunt me and I used to weep .

For memories are no sugar to me.

One Day,

Having a malevolent nightmare

I screamed !

Grandma Alisa swiftly whisked from her rocking-chair and came to me

Whispering soothing lulla-bies with me holding in her frail and filmsy arms.

Her warmth seeped into me oozing relief from within.

Next day

I woke up

Hearing soft bells chiming in tandem with the wind.

Every bead string and feather woven with many many love and prayers.

I saw the Dreamcatcher Gtrandma Alisa always talked about every time she phoned to speak with me.

Hanging  beside my cot adorned with beautiful beads abd strings .

Every night after

There still were Demons in my dreams.

But there’s always an angel,too

Holding a pale blue and coral Dreamcatcher woven with  many,  many love and prayers

In between her time-worn-digits and

Singing soothing lulla-bies in sync.
