Destiny

I can see you smiling, honey

That's the kind of love that one needs

When I asked you if I meant something at all

And it took you three whole seconds,

To recall the past that we had reckoned

You think it's easier upon lies to crawl

Maybe it's destiny you all

That together we didn't end up

I know it isn't all your fault,

That in this mess we are locked up now

You were my rain

But now in this dry city, I reign

Maybe it's destiny you all

You will again see me leaving, honey

I waited for so long, it's funny

Drunk on the idea that it will make sense at all

But now 'we' has petty chances,

Steadying on slippery stances

It's just a matter of time we fall

Maybe it's destiny you all

That together we didn't end up

It feels like bruises topped with salt,

When her name comes in, that's messed up now

You were my sane

But now I'll stroll alone on this lane

Maybe it's destiny you all

That I dance alone at this ball

So maybe this is right, to say goodbye

For all the feelings, I felt for you

All this while,

I always had a little bit of hope

Walking on a very thin rope

But that was so dumb of me, I suppose

All this while,

It's like we are kissing for the very first time

Maybe it's guilt going on your mind

It hurts when you say that am yours

But you aren't mine...

All this while

I blinded all the warning signs

Maybe it's destiny you all

That alone I will end up

Maybe it's not for me at all

Getting a love not messed up, how?

Or maybe it's for the best

And in the end of it, I'll conquest

Maybe it's destiny you all...
