Desire To Fly

Trapped in shackles of fear was a girl,

her heart was of gold and her eyes, were pearls.

She had the fear of flying, flying high up in the sky,

"What if the obstacles crash me down and I'm about to die?"

Fear shouldn't be feared so much that you are no longer afraid,

one wrong step and by all the monsters she would be preyed.

Her inner conscience then spoke to her, 

"Don't be afraid darling, just soar higher."

she took off with her broken wings,

realized that the life she always dreamt, she was finally living.

After numerous attempts she finally succeeded,

She did win from all, but fear was the enemy she defeated.

Don't ever let fear take over your mind, 

Create your own star, one of a kind.
