Deranged Mind

Money is Money is patriarchal,

a friend told me,

she’d studied gender for her PhD,

however she didn’t know,

she’d said it to a sick person,

I never had enough money,

Just enough to get by,

but now any money,

seemed a curse of patriarchy,

what a stupid thing to think,

but who knew I wasn’t thinking straight.

Heck! At forty-one, I was questioning if I was straight.

My delusional mind,

but today every good is gone,

and I am in woods.

Hoping, in time, for this mind to come back to life.

For the first time in two years,

therapist said, there is scope.

Fingers crossed, let’s hope.
